The delivery truck did not arrive UNTIL 3:30pm , so i had to call neighbors over to make sure my stuff got delivered properly, and low-and-behold; WRONG COLOR COUCHES. So i sent it all back. Even the 65 inch tv because we didnt want to be held liable for anything. We call corp.and they tell us to keep the wrong color couches because it will be ANOTHER 6 WEEKS for the couches we were ORIGINALLY supposed to have to come. Warehouse mistake. Not Roy's. We saw paperwork.
Today: we agree to keeping the wrong color couches because we have guests to entertain today. They said they would deliver them between 11-2 pm
Overall the furniture store is okay, the people working there weren't really of any help. Decent selection but my ex-wife used to work here and knows the owners and says they're not that great of people. But overall the selection was decent outside of not having a clearance section. I would definitely go to Value City or Art Van before making a purchase here.
Day 1: Roy was our salesman, amazing guy. Great communication and work ethic.
Fast forward to 6 weeks later, we asked for the delivery to be here early in the day because i had to be to work by 3:30pm.
Be Wary!!! Terrible customer service. Visited the Waterford location on 6-12 and dealt with sales people Patty and Darryl. I went in looking for a small table in the clearance center but found a couch I fell in love with. Made a deal with Darryl and told him I would return that afternoon. Realizing I could not make it I called spoke to Patty who took my number and assured me the sofa would be tagged so that I could pick it up on 6-13. Called the store on 6-13 to verify the couch was still there and it was. No mention of any issues. Customer rep was rude on the phone so I checked reviews.....not good but again I loved the sofa. I returned to the store today after driving 45 minutes in rush hour and had two others meeting me to help load from an hour away. The new sales manger takes me back to where the sofa is clearly marked with my name and number and I tell him his customer rep was rude. He apologizes and tells me they are working on this. I wait 35 minutes for Darryl. I'm then told the sofa is already sold to someone else....wait??? What??? It is marked with my name and Patty let me know she would call if there was any change. When I ask what is going on here The sofa is clearly marked with my name. The store manager tells me he can't take it back from the other buyer. There was not another shopper in the store at 11 am on 6-12. He then tells me maybe I would like to look at something else. No...maybe I would like to shop somewhere else that appreciates their customers. The whole thing seemed scandalous at best.
Got a call 10:00 am stating our delivery times: 2-5 pm.... Which is not what i requested and not what they told me would happen.
I have never and hope to never have an experience like this anywhere else again, highly unsatisfied and will not be going back.
They said the mattress we ordered is on "back order".....
Second truck comes, brings in two end tables, two lamps, and states that is all that he has for us..... Where is our t.v. that was in the delivery truck just YESTERDAY??????
First truck comes: drops off couches, ottoman and throw pillows. They are missing a throw pillow!
Ordered our stuff just how we wanted it. Tells us our bedroom set, as well as our bed will be delivered that night, but 4-6 weeks for our livingroom set up and 65 inch tv; no biggie. We ordered a special color...
Oh... Thats on back order too... Right...
We sleep on the couch.
Delivery comes - no mattress. So we dont have them set anything up.
So we go home, and remove our old bedroom set, give all of our stuff to a family member who needed it immediately and wait for the delivery to come.
When I walked in I was met by a big smile.i knew what I wanted. No pressure ,no trying to steer me outside of my budget. Just helpful. I would personally recommend Patty if your shopping at the Waterford store. Thank you Patty you are a true salesperson that cares about what the customer wants.
We recieved an email with ONLY 4 OF 9 items we are supposed to have delivered today... So we make a trip to the store. We have a gift certificate to spend the the waterford location where we purchased our bed and living room sets, so we go there, and check why all the materials are not listed in the email, and they tell us they are just on two diff. trucks; no problem.
Day 2: go back to the waterford store where we bought our furniture from, and the manager on duty said that they had 10 of the type of bed we ordered in stock, so they made the delivery that day 9pm. Mattress and all.
the furniture store is organized , nice till they make the sale and after that they don't care about the customers, we bought bed room and dining room chairs it took them 2 months to make the delivery because when we told them we don't want the delivery in the same week I feel we have been punished for that the chairs came dirty we returned them right way with the delivery driver in early December but when I received my CC statement I saw the chargers on the statement I called on December 22nd the rep was very rude she couldn't give me any "proof of the return, she said will email it to me. never happened . " I called back on the 26nd the other rep told me we don't do that . every time I call their answer is "I AM NOT SURE WHY " .I hope the manager will read this review hopefully they know WHY , and can reply to me if they think the customers are important.
