Ty and Steven are the best you could ask for! I've brought two vehicles to them that were literally falling apart at the seams and they have gotten me back on the road!! They are quick and most importantly honest! Southern hospitality at its finest!! I'm a single mom of four with limited funds and Ty has been so good to us I won't take my cars anywhere else. When I was looking for a diff car he helped me find something that would work best for me. I can't say enough about aamco in Waterford!

This is an awesome business. Courteous, professional, knowledgeable, timely and fair. What else could you ask for? My classic Mazda Miata has been serviced here a couple times and I won't ever take it any place else. Thanks Steve, Ty and Team!

Recently had Aamco rebuild the transmission in my 2006 Volvo XC90. At first I thought Customer service seemed great and staff was very nice etc...Drove the vehicle for a few days and shifted fine as far as up shifting through the gears....but downshift was and is extremely hard from 3rd to 2nd. I called and spoke w a Manager within a week of the repairs and explained the issue and was told to bring it in, so I brought the vehicle back, they had a tech take a look at it and after looking at it, I was told the transmission was functioning properly and handed me the keys..nothing more, nothing less..which made me feel as if I was a total idiot or something...Well after spending over $4200 I was and am not happy. After leaving Aamco, I stopped by a reputable transmission shop for a second opinion and they told me that the vehicle may need the latest computer software update since the computer tells the tranny when to shift. This other reputable shop even told me when they rebuild Volvo tranny's they have Volvo do the software update. Vehicle is still under Aamco transmission warranty and is still downshifting hard between 3rd and 2nd as of today 12/20/2017. So I have an appointment set with Volvo service to do the latest computer software update. I would have at least thought Aamco would have troubleshooted something else, because obviously there is a downshift problem, but they told me "the transmission is functioning properly". I forgot to mention, I also did some research and found out that a bad solenoid or bad ground in a transmission solenoid could also cause downshift issues, so I called Aamco and spoke w someone there and the individual told me that yes maybe a transmission solenoid might be starting to go bad. Why did Aamco not tell me that it could be a software update issue or a solenoid or any of the sort or a loose f----ing bolt at least!!! maybe...Something!!!!!when they looked at the vehicle a 2nd time? No, instead they tell me the transmission is functioning properly! Very disappointed with my Aamco rebuilt transmission. 1st time it was repaired, it should have downshifted properly to be properly repaired. 2nd visit, it should have been repaired properly so it downshifts properly.

Great service. I would definitely use AAMCO again. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Took the time to explain the issue with my car.

Never imagined I’d ever come across an auto mechanic shop such as this. If there was a higher star rating I’d give it. I give my deepest thanks to Steve, Ty, and the entire staff. Had my transmission repaired here and they also fixed a hose line to my power steering for free. And I want to extra thank Steve for the vent considering holding my blazer long enough for me to come up with the money. Though I didn’t have to make them wait, still thanks was needed. If you have car trouble don’t go anywhere else even your dealership.
